Michellle has been part of Sentinel since 2012. She has been appointed as Director and heads up the Tax Planning & Consulting Services Department.
About
Michelle brings extensive expertise in individual and local trust tax compliance, the Tax Administration Act, drafting objections and appeals, including dispute resolution with SARS. Her proficiency also extends to ceasing tax residencies with SARS, SARS voluntary disclosure programme applications, cross-border beneficiary planning and multi-jurisdictional estate planning.
A registered General Tax Practitioner with the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT), Michelle has been practicing tax since 1994. Prior to joining Sentinel, she served in KPMG’s tax department, further honing her skills in complex tax matters.
She is also a member of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa (FISA).
